You will find you will need an EASA. Despite the FAA/ICAO that is in their ad.
Just ask past guys here on the 737 and A320 who joined with an ICAO licence, only to be sacked at the end of the year when the DGCA changed their policy.
First they required EASA, then they dropped the requirement for ICAO/FAA, then they reinstated it and gave guys till the end of the year to get an EASA licence (Long haul guys got a longer extention), then they dropped the requirement again. Just last month a friend of mine was accepted, then called when he'd resigned asking if he had an EASA licence. He didn't, so they would only give him a one year contract.
As you can see, these guys change month to month, and don't give a **** if you lose your job. So maybe they do accept ICAO/FAA. But if you come here thinking it's going to stay that way, then good luck fella. If you don't have an EASA, you better be prepared to study up because they will change again.

what de facto say is true ..THY just recently turned 15 737max options to confirm orders.. just the 737 order schedule is 2016=20, 2018= 20, 2019=15, 2020 30 and 2021=10 a total of 95 air frames.
now you have an additional 25 (+5 options i think) 777's, 30+ A330's and over 100 A320/321's ... all planning on joining the THY fleet by 2023
despite what other people might be saying there is no possibility IMHO that even the local market to cater for the large number of crew required even with the growing number of training organisations here... as the deadline draws closer for airframe handovers and the 2023 deadline THY will eventually change the conditions to compete with other carrier in the region to attract crew or its going to be one expensive parking lot

How about start by stopping absurd discrimination, really integrating foreigners ( with a ban on the word "yabanci" starting to call FO with their name and offer some sort of benefits for pilots with and without families. So much could be done. On the other end..how to justify the tricks with seniority, the intake of turbo prop captains with no jet time ( and no degree ) that will jump seniority and bypass a lot of very experienced FO with thousand of hours on type and be trained and upgraded in THY. I fail to see any wisdom in it and, along with other questionable practices, a potential source of future problems. Sometimes looks like THY is willing to lose pilots and not to get the quality one they badly need and that are mostly heading more to the East...
