The Chinese airlines are offering circa $320,000 for just an expatriate captain, so your numbers are fantasy.

And so what. I can catch a taxi in Shanghai for an hour and pay around $10.00. The same ride here would require another mortgage. Other consumer price deltas are similar.

I wonder how much an airline executive makes in China?
