You actually believe this do you, a secret conspiracy has been hatched by the QF senior management & the board so that QF international will lose money........ & that the motivation behind this is so they can get at the QF pilots ???
Well for one thing it would be highly illegal, & really shows a schoolboy intellect & delusions of grandeur.

Pretty much all the Sing/Aust routes (melb, syd , bris) an SO is carried , nobody else does, same goes for the A330 run to Manilla, really all the 747/330/380 runs to Asia - they all take a Second Officer , the other airlines fly them all two pilot
Anyone surprised they aren't making a buck ?
