Don't rush OS, do your sums, think about the family, what will it do to elderly parents, kids who love their school, pets, and mates, the cost of moving, the renting/ selling of your house. We had no choice, and it was ****e, if you take less money and can work here, give it consideration, (it was not a option for most of us) And then there is the wife. Happy wife, happy life, never a truer word spoken. Female pilots, the old man, can he cope? So many questions so few answers. Just don't rush into anything, for fear of not paying the mortgage, speak to the bank manager, explore other options. You should have never been placed in this position, the fault lies squarely with poor management, and I feel sorry for you all, and certainly know the feeling. The sandpit is not for everyone, and once there, many feel trapped, others love it. But many wives loath it. Its a bastard, it really is, but good planning, will pay off, the very best of luck.
