Logging of Hours with 'Heavy Crew'

My company only recognises 'time in seat' as hours that we can put in our log book. So if I was to get the company to stamp/authorise my flying hours, these are the only hours they recognise.

So when it comes to FTL's we fly over 100 hours per 28 days as long as our time in seat does not exceed that, the same goes for 900/year.

As a FO on a 4 pilot crew, we basically log 50% of the outbound sector and the same on the return. For Captains, the nominated PIC logs 100% of the flight, and 50% when he is the relief captain.

I understand, if not agree with the companies stance regarding this for productivity etc, however it's slowing down building hours for an upgrade. And there is a little injustice when new hires have logged 100% of their previous bunk time and the company simply accepts this without question. Completely not the new hires fault though.

It's nice to see that EK recognises all this time towards upgrades which seems fairer.
