In the early days of the 109E, I had similar problems and queried it with Agusta. There was some issue relating to machines with and without sliding doors and the anticipation that those with would be used for winching with associated lateral CG concerns. To allow for this there was (reputedly) a different rigging which shifted the cyclic.
But that was many years ago, and may have been complete tosh!
