You know I am a marketing analyst right? As has been explained to you, MAG has to tread a fine line between promoting a new route yet not doing so at the expense of an exisiting customer. They have to balance the needs of all their airline customers, not just the new and exciting.
I fail to see the difference of promoting one route over another especially if it's a new route !
However, I stress again, others will disagree, however much MAG might love Emirates for bringing them the A380, they will also seek to balance that against the likes of less sexy traffic like BA/VS to LHR. If they start obviously taking sides, that just damages business relationships.
