I agree 50% load factor re Flynas in first few months, to me at least seemsnothing short of remarkable....given competition from Saudia and negligible, dare I say NIL publicity.
Saudi needs a mega heavy push to relevant communities in the Golden Circle, Birmingham, Humberside, South Yorkshire and Lancashire, hope also MAG do their bit.
Inviting senior members of those communities to launch would have been ideal method to get message out at no cost and maximum exposure but thus far all I have seen is a picture of a cake on the twitter feed.
MEN, Radio Manchester, Radio Merseyside, Radio Blackburn, Radio Bradford, Facebook, email etc etc etc
"IF" you want to fill these flights there is no point sitting back , someone needs to be procative !
Meanwhile MAG seem to be pushing outbound tourism to China, very little to suggest they are pushing inbound or setting up advance links with relevant agencies despite the 2nd most popular destination for Chinese being only 1 hour from Man airport !
Is marketing outsourced ?
