Very sad/angry/disappointed/heartbroken that LS will be removing the 757 from Newcastle
Some of them are over twenty six years old, which even in Jet2 terms is knocking on a bit. The B738 is perfectly adequate for 95% of the missions that the B757 flew, that's why Boeing has sold 4,500 NGs alone and the B757 line closed at just over 1,000 of
all models. The Thomson B757s are also being replaced by new B738s as well.
