Interestingly, BA have tried and failed on LCY DUB and route was abandoned quickly after launch, though that was 2008, in the peak of the financial crisis. DUB is a very long established WX route, and I imagine that demand originates in DUB, it could take a while to make this work. DUB and BHD have been BE/JEA routes before...
EXT is a surprise move, will this spell the end of NQY LGW? EDI competes with BA who operate x8 daily. Surprised to see them going after a BA route, where BA are minority shareholder and where WX have recently exited the market, after a long time on the route.
Given the size of this operation, and aiming at some of LCY's largest routes, we can safely say BE has big designs on the LCY market.
