I will seriously boycott Newcastle International Shopping Centre if they block up those windows. And with the walk through World Duty Free, I'm hoping they don't go OTT with the shopping centre feel and funnel you through an endless maze of women's... Crap, before you get into the lounge (ala LBA). I liked the "novelty" of being able to walk out of security and have a choice to some extent of what shops you went into. Definitely praying for a Costa Coffee somewhere airside or landside.
Anyway, looks nice, and the lounges are deffo an improvement (didn't know the new Aspire was the largest in the UK, and AspirePlus seems nice). Next on the list has to be the gates being re done MASSIVELY. Some space for an EK lounge in the future might be nice too
Do we seriously have to wait until 2030 for that new pier?
