I think what is so odd is having the 2 rotations within 3 hrs or so of each other, both in the afternoon/evening.
Surely it would attract more passengers if one was in the morning and the other in the afternoon/evening as it will still be in Mondays. I dont think that it is down to aircraft availability.
Im sure that the air service has a much shorter journey time than the train making it very attractive to many, however these new schedules will possibly help kill the route off.
Have they cut flights from EDI and GLA?
