I think that Ryanair's domination of Stansted and the fact the Luton has a better catchment mean it will be favoured by Easy- Stansted has a problem in that it needs to reduce the dominant position of RYR to tempt more airlines in.
Travelled Luton to Barcelona and back last week- overall not a bad experience - even for a 7.50 departure the airport wasn't really overcrowded though it was rather Wizzville. Security Okay. Arriving at the airport a bit dismal though- any one know if the long corridor to immigration is constructed in a way to encourage flaking paint or whether they just haven't painted it for ages- and couldn't the walls be brightened up either by advertisements or artwork?
