C-2As are not based at Miramar...some circuits maybe, but not based. VRC-30 are based at North Island, and VRC-40 at Norfolk, VA. Type command rests with CACCLW at Point Mugu, CA (only because the E-2 community is more numerous, and therefore took type lead on C-2A):
