Not in a 189Y config though... There's a massive difference between a first class only with limited pax operating SNN - JFK - LCY than a packed 'bus. Load factor and range would most certainly be an issue to route viability/profitability.
UK airline Astreaus (defunct) operated B737's between the UK and Canada for a short time. A major Irish operator are reputedly looking in to LOCO trans Atlantic routes, but in neither the 738 or the A320 series.
