As Desk Driver said, hotels are putting up prices proving that there are always people willing to try and benefit from others' misfortunes. To suggest that this is not the case is naive. I actually think it's highly unlikely Easyjet would do this though. Therefore I am interested in the real reason. Seems like a panic-driven over-reaction to me. You say the answer is obvious.
