I only said last week, after easyJet signed a seven year deal with Gatwick, that is would be nice if Luton took a long term approach... Then hey presto, the deal appears a few days later!
If they do increase capacity by 20% next summer, I am assuming that means they will be adding three new aircraft to the base, bringing the fleet from 15 to 18!
I wonder where the new destinations will be or where capacity to existitng routes will go?!
I would imagine internal routes to Belfast, Glasgow and Edinburgh might see an increase as these routes only see 2-3 rotations on some days. Where we have previously seen these being flown by up to 5-6 times a day.
