As noted elsewhere, Flybe has acquired slots at LCY for what looks to be a 2x daily service to Jersey alongside Inverness, Belfast City, Newquay and Isle of Man. 284 movements in the season providing 22,152 seats will make it BE's second busiest service out of LCY after the BHD, and (alongside Blue Islands' service) JER the 16th most served destination out of LCY in terms of ATMs.
Also reputedly an announcement regarding a possible rebrand due next week. Interesting times ahead, it seems - but if nothing else the new regime must indeed be confident of the results of their cost-cutting. Yogi Berra once said 'The future ain't what it used to be'.
