Any airline is beneficial to the airport as long as they pay their fees and bring in some sort of revenue. Having said that, it was always pretty much a joke of an operation and the airline doesnt seem to have much of a future so it really looks like in this case its a "lose them just before they disappear" kind of scenario.
The little guessing game above, Thomson could really do better at their long time base but they have never really seemed all that interested. I would go with Wizz and then Wizz again but they are not based so... cough cough splurt.
