seconds/catering
Perhaps someone from flight catering might be able to explain some things....
1) In Australia ALL food is completely disposed of and is airline property until the waste removal trucks come and take it away then it becomes their property.
The only exception is the unopened bottles of alcohol which get used again.
2) First class should be very well stocked so there should be plenty of food for seconds.
3) Alot of pax dont eat their meals so there is alot of food onboard. Airlines try to make sure of this!
