Right on the money JetJockey. Didn't they try this once before? What a joke!! The reason that MAS is losing money is so obvious, and has been stated over and over again: they are saddled with incredibly uncompetitive contracts, and with many thousands too many useless employees in a gov't led, make-work project.

The Fat Man, who many times has stated that he "hates competition" would love to come in and turn MAS into an international only airline, thus giving him and his minions free rein to 'own' the Malaysian routes. But then again, maybe he is too busy getting rolled over in India and Japan to have much time to do anything at home.

The last time he was brought in to be the savior of MAS, the only thing that happened was that Firefly Jets was shut down at his insistence, thus ridding his dream team airline of any serious low-cost competition. MAS will never change, because despite the lip service in Putrajaya being paid to the airline's losses, too many Datos have millions being funneled to them from MAS to seriously change anything.
