We all no were you are at he mo as we have all been there but making comments like that is selling yourelf short and everyone else in the industry.

You try and find one expat in the middle east that doesn't need allowances for accommodation, travel home, schools, health insurance etc. (i.e. save the company some money) it is not because we love money it is because living in the midle east is expensive espeacially if one has kids and the cost of living here far outweighs that of home and that includes the personal side.

The avaition scene used to be a proud profession but people like yourself are bringing it down. Most major companies will not look at such people offering such services however alot of second and third level operators will and this is were the rot is starting. I have friends flying for one such company in the Mid East Falcon Express, we have all heard about it on this forum, and I will use this as an example although my knowleadge is slim, Falcon Express has now started on this slippery road treating pilots like they are slaves, now this is a compnay which has consistantly expected the extra mile from it's pilots, it is also a company which makes a lot of money due to it's location, it is also I company like all others that can't operate or exist without pilots. Now when everyone one else in the company espaecially management are getting pay increases you must ask what is happening to the pilots. Well apparantly the new hires are on such a low wage it is a joke, You will earn more as a loader for you national airline back home and you ask why, it is because there are people out there who will sell them selves as slaves and I'm sorry you are selling yourself short and everyone else short to come and although not all companies listen to plights such as yours there a those that do due to there greed and it is these companies who are aloud to remain operating that are destroying this once proud industry.

Although it is nice saying that you want to save the company some money but that is something you do when you are working for the comapany not before.

Now we all know were you are at the mo as I said before we have all been there and some of us will be there again, I really hope you will soon find your feet and that first job, it does take time and patiance. I just hope when you do that you aren't paying them. It is pretty hard to support a family, pay a mortage or even drink a beer when you are being paid neg dollars per hour.
