Transatlantic from NCL

The whole transatlantic thing is really of no interest unless eventually we get a scheduled multi weekly flight from NCL. For those that wish to delve into the past I think you will finds that the first transatlantic flights ex NCL were affinity charters in the early 70's organised by the late great Alice Joyce under the guise of the 'Hebburn Catholic Women's League' flying with Aer Lingus and TWA 707 s to JFK and Air Canada DC8's to YYZ. Reg Pycrofts Jetsave followed with ABC charters and interestingly Fred Ward 's Wardair flew to Toronto. he hailed originally from Stakeford and flew in on the first flight to take his mother on the inaugural back to YYZ
