The original poster appears from his post, to have an expectation, that a flight school, Harv's will give him a job as an instructor if ohe does a rating with them.
I've seen that sense of entitlement before and in my view, it's not a good sign of an appropriate attitude of a potential instructor.
I've watched Harv's air over the years, and seen at times their products and the bottom line is this.
If someone does an Instructor Rating at Harv's they are well trained, have excellent employment prospects and, I know of cases where their students lined up jobs even before their ride was done.
In one case, Harv's made the calls that got the guy the job.
That's a pretty positive plug for Harv's and
I've no doubt that if they need a Class 4, they will look at their own but,
again, Harv's turn out quality and to turn out quality requires that hiring
of experience and talent which might not be the last person to do a ride.
