"it's called a C39 provision.
you have to be in school at least 8 months, complete the ppl, cpl, ifr, and instructor rating. you'll get a work permit for the length of time you've been a student up to 3 years. then when you start working after 6 months you can apply for a pr"

is it possible ?? work permit & then PR
Fai,

As far as I know Harvs are correct with this info. Basically if you do a study course that lasts for a minimum of 2 years then at the end of it you can get a 3 year work visa to live and work in Canada.

However even if you do the whole Zero to CPL course you'd struggle to make it take 2 years (unless you kept failing all your tests I suppose . After 8 months though you can get a work visa that allows you to work for the same amount of time that you studied - so if it takes you 1 year to get your FI then after you've finished you can get a 1 year work visa.

Getting PR after that depends on many other factors that are more of an immigration issue.

Hope this helps.
