PPL: JAA to EASA convert and add Night Rating
Hello,
I apologise if this has been asked already (and I have no doubt it has) but my search hasn't found a definitive answer.
I have recently completed the required training for a Night Rating.
I hold a JAA PPL due to expire later this year (five-year period).
If I submit SRG1126 (Application for a Night Rating) along with SRG1104 (conversion from JAR to EASA) with £73 (scheme of charges for replacement of a JAR licence with an EASA licence), will they add the Night Rating onto my newly issued EASA licence?
Or will they expect payment for both issuing a converted licence and adding the Night Rating (£89)?
So my total will be either:
£73 (JAR to EASA) + £6 (courier) = £79; OR
£73 (JAR to EASA) + £89 (Night Rating) + £6 (courier) = £168.
Thanks in advance for your guidance on this.
