wallp - I respect your enthusiasm for Luton and I completely understand how you want it to prosper, and I do mean that. However it's worth remembering it's now the end of January and airlines like Easyjet and Flybe are well into planning their winter 2014-15 schedules. I would expect most LCCs in Europe to be releasing winter seats around the start of April. Easyjet put the bulk of spring 2014 on sale 5 months ago.
Unless someone (eg Ryanair or Govt subsidy) pulls a rabbit out of a hat at a late stage, the chance is slim of any substantial new routes being launched to start in the spring - the ship sailed long ago. The best I can suggest is to lobby hard with ample data and strong supporting objective analysis for your proposed routes at Luton to start in spring 2015. The economy is improving and some carrier may prove receptive to your suggestions given enough time to do their own analysis
