Rumor
Heard the other day that a CX lease deal for the -8i has been done, but the issue of core icing is apparently being used as leverage by CX to get the payment down which has resulted in the deal being stalled/delayed while it gets hashed out. Also heard that the "flapper door" fix for core icing is a no go for the FAA as it raises the EGT substantially. An electric powered heating solution is now apparently in the works - any comments tdracer?
Yes this latest lease news is a total rumor but they just keep coming up and after all, this is a rumor network!
