Nice find regarding the Atlasjet.
Infact if you go to Luton as the starter point to book your tickets you get Antalya, Istanbul Tumu, Istanbul Ataturk, Izmir & Lefkosa Ercan.
Brilliant news if this gets off the ground...
I would imagine they will only fly to one or two of these destinations and will operate connections to the others.
AtlasJet seems to be very much focused on the Turkish domestic market and the countries in that region. They will need to do some serious marketing to get the message out they are flying to London and offer to competitive fares. At present the market seems to be dominated by Turkish Airlines and Pegasus, who both offer very competitive fares.
I would be interested to know why easyJet has pulled out of the Istanbul market, as would have thought they could hold their own. They have withdrawn totally from Istanbul and not just their route from Luton.
