This is going to get interesting.

Personally, I don't have a huge problem with it. It looks like they planned and possibly rehearsed it. They were never high, and it was on private land. It might have been a dumb bogan act, but if we stopped every dumb bogan act ......

But, CASA are in a world of trouble if they treat this pilot any differently than John Quadrio. (search the thread and read it if you are not familiar). One of the major things they got John on was hovering " dangerously" . The testimony of CASA's expert witnesses was specific and detailed. I can't see that this hover is any different. If they let this pilot off, then the John Quadrio case MUST be re-opened. If CASA are consistent, this pilot has got to lose his licence or alternatively CASA must relent on John Quadrio.

I also suspect that the farm might be deemed a workplace. There might be a whole world of pain with work cover as well.
