It might be worth reiterating that Iasi is approx the 4th largest city in Romania, a long way in status from Bucharest. Tarom fly routes from Iasi largely based around migrant labour patterns. The route should be treated as similiar to Wizzair flying Luton-Cluj. Tarom's membership of Skyteam or flag carrier status is irrelevant to almost all passengers at Iasi flying direct to either Italy or the UK. Heathrow is utterly inappropriate as a route from Iasi - Luton or Stansted is much more sensible.
Having said all that, Tarom is definitely worth having as a customer for Luton.
