I would like to point out Giles that in the press release from Cyprus Airways about selling a slot to Qatar Airways they are looking to operate from another London airport which they named as either Gatwick, Luton or Stansted. It may not be Luton but it could be so please get your facts right before dismissing the potential of airlines selling their slots and operating services from another London airport.
I would like to add DHL to the maybe list as they hold a number of valuable slots at Heathrow and do have a considerable presence at Luton. After all this is a rumour forum.
