engineer rumours

These folk are intimate with both the aircraft and the pilots that fly them with all their idiosyncracies..I bet that Parking brake habit might be a corroborting factor..there is Take Off config warning but no Landing config warning except for EGPWS for Flaps and Gear on ATR as well as most planes I think..but am sure ECAM indication on the -600 must have annunciated something unsusual.It must have been a short sector for them to have forgotten..or just a talkative cockpit (with all the recent Managerial overhauls at PW)..Before descent the first item you check is CCAS..and recall any leftover abnormalities.Am sure Parkingbrake would have iluinated(unless faulty light).
