The figures you mention sound about right. The problem is if they don't give you accommodation and give you allowance to try and find your own accommodation. I suggest he asks that accommodation is def provided. Life is ok here and I am sure you will survive. We have lots of people from India working in our offices, so he will find it like home from home.
