Wow, thanks for that. I can assure you that my employer is tenfold the asshole I will ever be. Airlines and their executive management care only for themselves and their own well being. So why shouldn't I? Is there some unwritten code of ethics that says an asshole who works 9-5 and receives an excessive salary, bonus and other perks whilst caring about himself should be allowed to do so while I don't? I don't think so. In my airline I follow the lead of my executives, hence I believe in this - "It's not what I can do for my airline, it's what my airline can do for me"
If they want me to go back to the old days where respect, value, honesty and integrity ruled a business then the pompous turds in my company will have to take the lead in that, then I shallow follow. Otherwise it's business as usual for me and I shall continue to put myself first
