Are you asking if you can skip the ground school and just take the checkride?

I don't know if i can self study at home and then go for the written exam. If yes i suppose that would just get me the ATPL written, it doesn't get me the license, right ? Also, after that (i am still supposing), if i ever want to be able to claim i have ATPL, and get captaincy in the A320 i would need to show "A320" on my ATPL, is that right ?
Here in Indonesia for example i have been told that they just need to see ATPL, doesn't matter if it is done on a cessna or a bus
I just want to get it done with, but i want to do it right.
