I can't believe that the people that have applied to both
Qantas & Australian Airlines don't read the newspapers,
if you had, you would have read that Geoff Dixon last Friday
said in the Qantas announcement, that they now have a
recruitment freeze.
As for Australian Airlines who fly to Japan (down 30%) and
Taipai, Hong-kong, Singapore (Which have all come down
with the killer virus SARS). Believe me that Qantas is in trouble,
your only hope in the next 3 months is if Geoff Dixon decides to clean up the present incumbants called F/As with their claims
for extra $$$$ when the company is in trouble.
