UK CAA WEBSITE
When trying to open "Favourite Destinations shortcuts (ie Check ATOL, Publications, Publications, G-INFO) the following appears:
"The CAA website has had a significant restructure of the content and of the site navigation.
Where possible, the bookmarks that you may have to the site, have been retained but, inevitably there will be some changes that have resulted in the removal or relocation of some of the pages. The new site structure provides both the CAA and the users greater opportunities to produce and publish content that is more effective for the future.
The page you have requested does not exist. To try and locate the information your require, please use the 'Search' at the top right of this screen."
Sounds to me like it was an attempt at an upgrade. For the computer challenged fraternity (including me) it was previously a simple exercise to use the shortcuts. No longer the case. I tried recently to find a CAP only to find that the first option told me that the CAP had been cancelled. Not the case, further search revealed that it was current, alive and well!
What is happening? Why is the CAA apparently going backwards, don't they have Safety and Quality Management Systems to work by?
