Thanks everyone

Food for thought and always get a second opinion IMO
So i did
I contacted PIPER tech type who had done 7 planes and one replacement.
An extensive PIPER user had done 25 inspections and nil u/s.

I have just bought a STABILATOR Kit of cables for $450.00 the 8130- release not and will find a willing and able LAME who will replace them.

I was quoted by my current LAME ALL CABLES 35 hours plus $1400 for the kit total $5000

BUYER BEWARE..

I checked the log book and find I am now flying on the suspect cables and no mention in the log book and a fresh MR.

So plane can stay on the ground until I get cables done.

But then today in the mail came the new CD telling me better have a closer look.

So when we do the STABILATOR cables,
IFF the others show signs of wear or corrosion then will plan to replace them also.
