Wow, this is very interesting. El Al are obviously doing well from Luton as it is with their full service offering but a low cost operation at LTN that complements the full service offering at LHR does make a lot of sense & will further increase competition with easyJet. Perhaps they could even decide to offer low cost & full service flights at LTN?
The New York route idea is very interesting. Presumably it would be 767 operated? But is their that much demand for a service to link the Jewish communities of the 2 cities, especially given the intense competition already on flights between London & New York?
