Good on him, and well done. Let's hope he enjoys his flying as the majority of us have over our careers.
I hope that we too have managed to secure a suitable exchange with the RN FAA for our FJ cadre in order to operate in the Fishead environment (staff jobs, as well as flying), as if we are really going to take F-35/Lightening on board the new carriers seriously and safely then we too will need to grow some experience pretty quickly.
Or just let the FAA do it
