I think you will find there are many amongst us who are glad the 777F didn't come!...besides, it may not be doing well but I highly doubt our cargo department is making a loss right now.
That is a pretty stupid way to look at it (although I would not be surprised to have a group of pilots that think that way).
I can't see why anyone would want less aircraft, even if they are freighters. More aircraft equals more upgrades. There are no more freighter only upgrades, so having a few 777Fs would not make the QOL that bad on the 777.
I don't care if Cathay buys Cessna 152s - if it means growth and upgrades, I glad welcome it.
