@highandlow, the places where the crew usually takes you for indo-streetfood are actually usually NOT that good, believe me. Kicking rats away when eating coto makassar what was made god knows when. Good luck separating from the crew to look for food on your own in a small town at 23:00.

@Gtr21 , You will fly on a crewlist, so as crew it does not matter if you have single entry etc. BUT when you want to leave on your own you get stopped at the immigration and cannot pass.
When this happened in 2010, from friends there, the only way to get passed this issue (without dealing with Lion) is to get evacuated out by the embassy on a special visa.
OR It happened on flights to Singapore that some FO's went out on a 'smoke' in the Terminal, and never returned, being backed up by the embassy in Singapore....No F.O. to fly back
. They solved that with putting the expats on Local Indonesian flights only, problem solved.
Some embassies in Jakarta just told the guys "Welcome to Indonesia, the corruption is so bad, we can't even help you at the time''.
