The LHR airbus fleet is becoming a predominatley 'touring' fleet, expect a mix of night stops to day trips of about 70/30.
Airbus will be the only shorthual BA LHR fleet very shortly, plenty of 5 trips around 'zig zaging' around europe. Tours range from 1 to 5 nights away .... get about 12-14 days off per month.

I am surprised just how hard we work at BA, had an easier time with last airline BUT have 100% roster stability at BA (apart from 3 week reserve periods - do about 1.5 per year of these).
Ops/crewing treat you well, although such stable rosters have very little contact with them .......

LGW commands around 4-5 years, LHR commands around 7-9 years ... Maybe old Brymon and Citiexpress commands at regional bases will become available to mainline pilots if 'Scope' is sorted out in the future ....

Generally pilots are happy and a good positive professional atmosphere, can't go far wrong joining .....
