The OP appears to be asking about VHM use for maintenance time recording: quite why, I'm not sure since I thought the VHM (EuroHUMS/M'arms) was more for diagnosis and not time recording.
The advice about flight time/etc has been discussed at length in
Helicopter Flight Time and numerous other threads. Without the OP giving his location it is difficult to guess the appropriate regulations to give a pertinent answer.
