You surmised correctly. I am somewhat light on twin-time. About 75hrs on a Baron. However, the majority of those hours were short-field high-altitude flying in Alaska/Canadian Rockies, with a full aircraft (including camera gear).
I don't pretend to be anything like up to the standard of the real African bush flyers, but nor am I entirely new to some of the more challenging approaches. i'm looking for the opportunity to perform similar approaches with big game rather than brown bears waiting for us upon arrival.
