We just had one of the principals of a well known golf course development company down to the Resort for a recent visit.
We flew him over several properties which would total more than enough area to construct a 27 hole championship course. He was very impressed with both the island and the potential on our end.
Currently he's working on a conceptual masterplan for the golf course. This was initially planned as a stand alone project but now in view of the latest announcements regarding a possible mega resort etc. it's being discussed as a possible component of it.
He also thinks that several other high end Hotel Management Groups he has previously worked with will be interested in a presence in the Cayman so we're jointly pursuing those opportunities.
Needless to say we're very pleased with this and several other recent events which we'll be announcing shortly so check back for updates.
