There are ? ? ? any number of FO's on the market with 500 or a few more hrs on A320/737.
Sad to say, the only job you are likely to find is possibly worse than the one you have been dumped from, as you are no longer even classified as a "revenue source", you are now merely a "financial/regulatory inconvenience".
Think they see you as "Tommorows Captain" ? grow up & open your eyes.
As long as people continue to pay for not only TR , but even LTng, this situation will never get better.
If only people could act a little bit in unison & use the supposed "intelligence" required to obtain an ATPL & come to the conclusion to tell those sh1tty companies to "take a hike", this situation could be solved.
Everyone is keen to slag off Ryanair ( & indeed not without reason ) but (for the moment at least ) if you pay the TR there you DO have an ongoing contract, it may not be the best (still better than the cr@p Vueling pay ) , but at least it is ongoing.
Dumping people after one year is just as much a reflection on how gullible the candidates are, as to how cynical the airline is. . .sorry, but that is a fact.
