Blowing away the cobwebs!
It's been a few months since this thread saw any life and it looks like 2014 is going to see quite a bit more orange!
We know about the LGW service by U2, which will be starting with 3 daily A319s, with the possibility of a fourth down the road. The three A319s (468 seats per day) will still be a considerable increase over this year's BE service - four E-175s (352); BE is moving to 195s for the Winter - its last hurrah on the route.
U2 is also launching a Belfast service from next Summer, no times stated as yet.
There was some talk of BA adding extra capacity on the overnight, since U2 will not be overnight; there was mention of a 321, but of course, BA has no 321s based in LGW at present.
It remains to be seen whether JER will see any services by GR's new Embraer 195.
