I agree. Often a pilot will continually get turned down for fabricated reasons, when in reality it's his/her personality that stands in the way. Example: Too rigid, insecure, unfriendly, defensive, talks too much, pushy, demanding, requires "special handling", or is too needy. It's often more about attitude and how the pilot is going to fit in than about experience. When applying for a position, have you done your homework? Are you interested enough in the job to find out a little about the company or employer? Where they are going, where they've been, how many pilots on staff? The interview is a two-way conversation and it's not all about you. Experience isn't first and it may not even be second.
